An Illinois journalist pointed out a factual question mark in Fahrenheit 911.

Moore used a clip from CNN in Fahrenheit 911 to incorrectly claim that Bush did not legitimately win the 2000 election. What Mike forgot to mention is that even the not-so-conservative CNN admitted that Bush would have won regardless of how many times the votes were counted.

The free market of ideas produces intelligent choices: Comparing coverage of the 2001 and 2005 inaugurations, CNN's rating plummeted, MSNBC's ratings dropped considerably and FOX News saw a 30% increase.

After completing their investigation of  CBS over a story on President Bush's military records, an independent panel claimed the network was guilty of "myopic zeal" which led to a disregard of basic journalism principles. Leslie Moonvies, the chairman and CEO of CBS, admitted that there were "lapses every step of the way" and the story on Bush's records was "wrong, incomplete of unfair".
